Hockey Glory’s Fitness Week 3

Welcome to my week 3 results!
Now we’re talking. Yup. 213 lbs. I barely worked out and ate trash. For all you health gurus, answer me this!… (And this is no April Fool’s Joke!)…
- I worked out only twice
- I ate donuts
- I ate a Chinese Buffet (3 plates)
- I ate an egg salad croissant
- I ate burger & fries THREE TIMES
- I drank over a litre of chocolate milk
- But I lost 2 lbs!
- It’s things like this that want to make me go back to eating junk and packing up my exercise gear!
Weight & Body
Down 2 lbs to 213! Make note I weigh myself the same way – in the morning after I’ve went to the bathroom.
Crap. I feel bad because I didn’t take any pics of the burgers or the Chinese Buffet. As I said last week, I went away on business for the week and didn’t want to take pics in front of coworkers. But here’s how the pig out went:
Burger 1: A really good burger at the Cactus Club in Calgary. A nice place with the HOTTEST servers I have ever seen at a restaurant. Our server was decent looking (maybe a 7/10), but beside us was a 9+/10 and the other side of the place had another 9+/10. There were some 8s sprinkled here and there too. The place was packed with business people. I don’t think I saw any servers (all women) worse than a 7/10!
Burger 2: I was starving. This is only the second time I have done this, but I ordered a burger combo from a Strip Club. This is when I got home from my trip. I didn’t want to take pics, since a few hot girls came by to sit with me and my buddy, the food arrived at the same time and the bouncer was nearby. So I didn’t want to make him nervous if he saw me taking a pic with my smartphone. The only other time I ordered food from a rippers was at this same place. For $7 (incl. tax!) you get a good burger and heaping amount of fresh cut fries. It doesn’t make sense:
- It’s a strip club
- You can walk by the kitchen and it’s dead. Where’s the cook?
- The kitchen looks completely empty
- But it’s an awesome burger combo!
Burger 3: An A&W burger combo. This time I just forgot to take a pic. Me and Evilenger met up and grabbed a bite. I pasted a generic pic I found from the internet below.
Chinese Buffet: King’s Buffet in Vancouver. A semi-dumpy place. I’ve been there before and when I go there, it’s for quantity not quality. They have a solid selection of “kind of authentic” Chinese food, which I enjoy. The pop comes fresh from a can which is a blessing. No way I’m drinking a fountain pop from a foggy glass from a place like this!
King’s Buffet. Dinner buffet, Coke, tax and tip….. just over $20!

Sorry, I didn’t work out at the hotels! Too lazy and I flew back a day early
Workout 1 (weights)
I didn’t work out till this past Friday. I did a bunch of dumbbell lifting till my arms got sore. Next time, I’m going to up the weight to 20-25 lbs per arm till they go limp. I’ve been doing 15 lb. reps till my arms get tired.
Workout 2 (Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012)
I did this yesterday afternoon. I tried the 15 minute Break A Sweat cardio program, then finished it off with a 6 minute run. I was gassed, so in the running video you’ll see me taper off to 9 km/h. I was basically fast walking at that point instead of running in place. When I did the running sessions last week, my calves were sore till Wednesday!
