Here’s the first of a series of Quick Tips for us old school gamers trying our hand at the ever so intimidating multiplayer component of Modern Warfare 3. Are you ready to take on those young punks who seem like they can move and shoot at hyper speed? Maybe a few of these tips will help you out in playing better.
Before you even step into the multiplayer game, here’s a few things you should look into first:
Turn OFF Controller Vibration
Yeah it’s cool and more immersive to feel the shaking controller but can be a hindrance to your timing and can affect your aiming. Keep it on for single player but it’ll be more of a hindrance to your targeting and overall feel in the multiplayer games.
Turn UP the Brightness
Our aging eyes aren’t as sharp as they used to be so turn up the brightness, so you can spot enemies better in those darker maps/areas.
LEARN the Controls
If your new to the system, this isn’t as easy the old directional pad and A + B buttons anymore. There’s lots of buttons, bumpers, triggers, thumbsticks, etc. Work on your muscle memory to do things quickly and by instinct like knifing, reloading, going to prone position and swapping guns.
Stay tuned for Quick Tip #2 when we actually get into the game!
