Well this is something we don’t see very often in this day and age.
During a recent Twitch livestream, original Gears of War Producer and head of Microsoft’s Coalition studio Rod Fergusson, announced that gamers will get their thick, meaty hands on Gears of War 4 earlier than expected. The game will release in Fall 2016, which is earlier than the originally announced Holiday 2016 launch.
That likely only amounts to a one month difference, but it’s good news for a company that is playing catch-up in console sales.
The studio has been pretty quiet on details surrounding the game thus far, and the only coverage we’ve seen has been the E3 trailer that featured a male and female COG soldier.
No word yet on whether we’ll see Marcus and Dom levels of bromance in the 4th game.
